"Have Server Reply Using" Action Does Not Fire
Hello, I have a server rule on Exchange 2007 SP2 that is being set up using Outlook 2007. We have a mailbox that has several associated addresses, and I would like to send an automatic reply indicating that the address is no longer in use and delete them. Everything else in the box should be delivered normally. So the following is my rule: Apply this rule after the message arrives sent to oldaddress@test.edu have server reply using This Address is no Longer Monitored and delete it Now my issue is that the reply message is never sent. Here is what I know:
The reply message never appears to be generated. There is no record of it being generated or routed in message tracking on the server.
The rule fires properly because the incoming message is placed in Deleted Items.
I have the "Allow automatic replies" option set for the * domain.
The messages are also not generated for local users on the server.
I have tried putting myself in the CC field of the message, and do not receive a copy, either.
Is there some way to troubleshoot the rule processing? Thanks, Joel

Hi,Whether the email address has alread been deleted or still associated with the mailbox?Did you mean the the rule is triggered when the action is move the message in Deleted Items under the same condition "send to oldaddress@test.edu"?Can you list the rule in detail that you configured about the condition and the action?ThanksAllen
